Apply to Aragon

Applications are open year-round. Tell us where the company is and what it needs, and we’ll tell you whether we’re the right people to help.

Who Should Apply

We work with early-stage companies in tech, fintech, insurtech and AI, at any of three points.

At the idea stage

Nothing built yet, or a prototype and a rough sense of the market.

Building toward launch

Something built, a team around it, and the commercial side still open.

Preparing to raise

Revenue coming in and investors to face.

Who This Is For

Stage matters less than these.

You want to build a company, not just a product.

The founders who get the most out of Aragon care about the structure, the books and the funding as much as the build.

You'll use what's here.

The accountants, the lawyer, the mentors and the pitch nights are only worth something to founders who show up and use them.

You're building in Canada, or moving here to build.

Most of what we do is Canadian incorporation, Canadian government funding and Canadian investors.

What You Get

Everything Aragon has, from the day you start: our accounting firm, our in-house lawyer, our mentors, the government funding work, our own venture capital arm, and a desk in North Vancouver.

Ninety companies have come through Aragon over ten years, and more than fifty are in the active portfolio today. One of them, Yocale.ai Inc., now trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange as CSE: YAI.

There is no cohort and no graduation. You stay as long as the company needs us.

Questions

No. Applications are open year-round and we take founders as they come.

No. Founders who work here get more out of us, but it isn’t a condition.

No. The form asks what a deck would tell us anyway.

About twenty minutes. You can save it and come back, and it’s worth doing with your co-founders.

The Application Form

These are close to the questions an investor will ask you. If you can answer them now, the answers are worth having whether or not you end up working with us.
