About the course

Runway sits behind nearly every decision an early company makes, and most founders track it less closely than they think they do. The number in their head is usually optimistic, usually out of date, and usually missing two or three costs that have not landed yet.

This program is about managing cash deliberately. You will calculate runway properly, including what founders routinely leave out, separate gross burn from net, and build the scenario models that show what happens if revenue lands late or a hire comes early. From there it covers where cost actually sits in a company your size and what cutting it really saves, the non-dilutive funding Canadian companies qualify for, and how to model hiring decisions against months remaining. It closes on investor readiness: telling the financial story in a way that holds up when someone pulls on it.

Taught by our accounting firm alongside mentors who have managed cash between rounds themselves. It is built for founders managing runway with or without a finance person.
